Crystal Curtis

I have spent nearly ten years as a professional designer and a lifetime as an artist. I have worked for both small and mid-sized companies in my native New England and the DC metro. During this time I've had the great opportunity to meet and collaborate with clients and peers in the nonprofit world, government sector and private sector.

The past few years I have been immersed in web, designing UI for applications serving education, finance and state government. While working on these systems is thrilling I have a particular affinity for identity design for smaller businesses. My freelance and pro bono work has mostly supported businesses in my local community and nonprofits such as Betty William’s organization - the World Centers for Children International.

As a designer and artist, I am most influenced by the principles of Swiss Design and the surroundings of my natural environment. I believe wholeheartedly in the power of visual communication as a catalyst for change and my greatest strength is helping clients find their brand message and consistently deliver through various media.

Outside of New Way Design it is the simple things in life that I enjoy the most. These include spending time with family and friends, volunteering, crafting, and enjoying the great outdoors.
